MgA. Petra Hanušková

- studies history and criticism at Faculty of Arts - Academy of Performing Arts, where she is completing her doctoral studies. Leads a historical seminar and regularly gives lecture. She also led a workshop for students who were interested in theatre criticism study programme. She worked as a PR consultant for four years in a company focused on counselling in private and public sector. Regularly cooperates as an external editor with several periodicals, including a magazine Respect and with newspaper Právo, where she focuses on cultural reports and reviews of artworks.

Mgr. Jan Hloušek, Ph.D.

-has been an assistant at Institute of Social Work at University of Hradec Králové. Deals with social security law, legislation during founding organization in social area, social planning and designing, fundraising, management of non-profit organizations and social service quality standards. Is a director of Občanské poradenské středisko, o. p. s. (Citizens´ consulting centre) in Hradec Králové.

Mgr. Miroslav Kappl, Ph. D.

- has been an assistant at Institute of Social Work at University of Hradec Králové. Is engaged in methods and techniques of social work with individual, methods of community and minority issues. For the period of five years he worked as a terrain social worker in a Community Centre Amaro Phurd in Hradec Králové, for the last seven years he has been working as a social worker in a programme of family rehabilitation in resocialization programme of service Triangl in Citizens´ Association Salinger.

PhDr. Martin Smutek, Ph.D.

- has been an academic worker at Institute of Social Work at University of Hradec Králové. Graduated from Social Policy and Social Work at Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University in Brno (Master and Doctoral studies). For a long time has been engaged in the issue of theory of social state and its modernization. Focuses on qualitative / interpretative research procedures and is interested in intersubjective nature of social reality. In research concern he has taken part as a researcher on topics such as "Industrialization of Social Work Services and Changes of Social Work Professiography", "Social State in the Period of Post-Industrial and Form of Flexibilization in Social Work", "Europezation of Social Work - European Dimension and Trends in the Field of Social Policy and Family as a Subject of Social Work and Social Policy" or "European Municipality and Social Service". In the year 2005 published a monograph on a topic of evaluation of social programmes and is an author of series of articles dealing with actual social state´s reform. He was the one who gave the start to a tradition of yearly unique international conference in the field of social work in the Czech Republic - Hradec Days of Social Work (since 2005) and is a regular member of preparatory and scientific committees of this conference.

JUDr. Olga Sovová, Ph.D.

- graduated from Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague. After a short period dedicated to scientific work and teaching at the Charles University she started to perform the practice of law in the field of commercial and administrative law. In the year 2004, after she obtained academic degree in Public law with the focus on administrative, financial and institutional law she returned back to teaching and scientific work at university - Police Academy of the Czech Republic, still cooperates. In the year 2007 she cofounded a Centre for Health Law of Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague, where she teaches and externally cooperates with Department of Criminal Law. JUDr. Sovová has been an academic worker at University of Hradec Králové since 2008 and works at the Institute of Social Work. Professionally focuses on administrative and health law and interdisciplinary questions on protection of human rights during providing of health and social care. JUDr. Sovová is a Vice-President of Czech Association of Protection of Economic Interests of the EU, a lawyer and is registered on the list of arbitrators for consumer disputes.

PhDr. Ondřej Štěch, Ph.D.

- has been engaged in exploration of theories of social integration and its legitimacy in social, political and cultural context. Analysis focuses both on perception of concept of justice and democracy in communitarian theories and furthermore on research of significance of togetherness for its value and social integration. He also dedicates his work to sociology of religion and specifically to questions of secularization. Teaches sociology at the Institute of Social Work at University of Hradec Králové.

MUDr. Radim Uzel, CSc.

- a gynaecologist, a sexologist, a sexology populariser, a honorary chairman and a member of scientific board of Association for Family Planning and sex education and a university lecturer. He has published several popular articles in media, interviews, has been an author of publist sessions on radio (for a programme "Červenání s doktorem Radimem Uzlem" ("Blushing with doctor Radim Uzel" he was awarded in international competition announced by the Population Institute in Washington) and on television. Every year he participates in lectures and discussion in the field of sex education.

doc. MUDr. Alena Vosečková, CSc.

- has been working as an academic worker at the Institute of Social work at University of Hradec Králové. In her pedagogical work she focuses on these areas - physiology (cardiovascular system and central nervous system), leads seminars and workshops in physiology, in subjects such as military hygiene, teaching psychology of health, teaching and self-experience trainings in psychotherapy and supervision (lecturers, workshops).
